AAHK honoured with five awards for ESG excellence

Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) was recognised for its outstanding performance in environmental, social and governance (ESG) aspects for the second consecutive year at the Outstanding ESG Enterprises Recognition Scheme 2025, organised by Sing Tao News Corporation and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. AAHK received five awards, namely “Prestigious ESG Accomplishment of the Year”, “Outstanding ESG Environmental Performance Award”, “Outstanding ESG Social Performance Award”, “Outstanding ESG Corporate Governance Performance Award” and “ESG Commendation Certification”.

Over the years, AAHK has been committed to integrating sustainability into its business strategies and operations through a series of ESG initiatives. These include the completion of one-year Renewable Diesel pilot, providing key support for the establishment of the 2,400-hectare North Lantau Marine Park and implementing voluntary marine ecology and fishery enhancement measures, launch of the world’s first Smartphone Express Bag Drop Service and an introduction of a two-year Information Technology Trainee Programme designed to support airport’s digital transformation.
